This Wednesday, we’re excited to welcome Kendall Rae Johnson, founder of aGROWKulture Urban Farm. Her farming journey started with lessons from her great grandmother, Laura “Kate” Williams, and a simple lesson on growing collard greens. In 2021, with the support of her parents, that curiosity turned into a business and made Kendall Rae the youngest certified farmer in the nation.
Today, aGROWKulture Urban Farm is a thriving urban farm producing fresh vegetables, fruit from 26 trees, and livestock including chickens, ducks, rabbits, and honey bees. The farm also serves as a community hub, offering tours, workshops, and events that connect people to their food and inspire the next generation of farmers.
