Backpack packing for Coweta Family Connection
Members of the Newnan Rotary Club along with other community volunteers spent the afternoon packing backpacks for Coweta Family Connection with a goal of packing 750. These backpacks will be provided to students at the 5th Annual Back to School Bash and Backpack Giveaway.
ELEVATE Room Expansion
Volunteers came together to assemble furniture and cabinets for ELEVATE Coweta Students as they moved into a new larger space at Ruth Hill Elementary
Hygiene Bags for Coweta Samaritan Clinic
Through a $2,000 Rotary District Grant, the Rotary Club of Newnan purchased supplies and packed 165 hygiene bags for Coweta Samaritan Clinic. Each bag included shampoo, soap, deodorant, toothpaste, a toothbrush and toilet paper.
Following the service project, Rotarians toured the clinic and learned more about the medical and dental care its team provides to uninsured residents of Coweta County.
