Music and Memory

This project was originally funded by District Grant Funds in 2018-2019. We are currently serving in 3 different facilities each week - Insignia of Newnan Assisted Living, Benton House and Avalon Health & Rehab . Our target is to help those who have been affected by dementia and Alzheimers.

The grant originally was used to purchase instruments, but we continue to train, recruit and work with the residents in the facilities. We have not only Rotarians, but community volunteers who assist.

This project continues to be featured in print media.
